Can you cut Wikki Stix?
Wikki Stix are pieces of synthetic yarn covered with a waxy, slightly tacky substance. They can be bent, shaped, stuck together with just a bit of pressure. They are unbreakable but can easily be cut with scissors (even small kids scissors).
Are Wikki Stix the same as pipe cleaners?
The core of the Wikki Stix is acrylic synthetic yarn (unlike pipe cleaners there is no metal core in a Wikki Stix making it much safer). The wax coating is food grade and made of a similar substance to that found in lipstick and bubble gum. Wikki Stixx are completely non toxic (see below).
